Gros Islet hosts a street party every Friday night. There is also a jump up in Laborie on the last Friday of every month which is smaller and a bit less ‘touristy’.
Tourists and locals alike gather to enjoy music, food, drinking and dancing.
There are bars and restaurants, street vendors selling local delicacies, rum, and the ever-famous Piton beer. It is a busy, noisy place to gather and have some fun.
As it’s in the street, there are no entrance fees.
Take some cash to get a drink, something to eat and maybe a souvenir or two!
While these parties are usually safe, always take the usual care with your valuables, taking out only essentials if possible.
